TERMS OF SERVICE
Effective date: 24 September 2026
These terms apply when you use medruscymru.co.uk or buy or access training or services from MEDRUS Cymru. By using the website or enrolling on a course, you agree to these terms.
Who we are
MEDRUS Cymru provides online training and consultancy from Wales, United Kingdom. Contact us at info@medruscymru.co.uk.
Course enrolment and purchases
You must provide accurate information when creating an account, enrolling or making a purchase. Prices are shown before checkout. Access is provided after successful payment or another agreed arrangement. Quotes, purchase orders and separate written agreements for practices, clusters, health boards or other organisations may include additional terms. If those terms conflict with this page, the written agreement takes priority.
Accounts and access
Unless we agree a team or organisation licence, course access is for the named learner only. You must keep your sign-in details secure and must not share, transfer, resell or allow another person to use your account. Team access is limited to the learners and period agreed with MEDRUS Cymru.
Payments
Payments are handled through third-party payment providers. You are responsible for ensuring that payment and billing information is accurate. We do not store full payment card details.
Cancellation and refunds
If you buy as a consumer, you may have a legal right to cancel within 14 days. Where you ask for digital content to start during that period, you may be asked to agree to immediate supply and acknowledge that the cancellation right may be lost once supply begins. This does not affect your legal rights if digital content is faulty or not as described. Organisation and team purchases are governed by the agreed quote, purchase order or contract. Contact info@medruscymru.co.uk promptly if there is a problem with an order or course.
Using the training
MEDRUS Cymru training is provided for general education. It is not legal, clinical or indemnity advice and does not replace current Welsh Government guidance, legislation, contractual requirements, local health board procedures or professional advice. You remain responsible for decisions made in your organisation.
Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the website, course content, graphics, downloads, tools and branding belong to MEDRUS Cymru or are used with permission. Your purchase gives you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the material for your own learning or the internal use agreed in an organisation licence. You must not copy, reproduce, publish, upload, sell, license, adapt or distribute the material without written permission.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse the website or learning platform, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with security or operation, upload harmful material, infringe another person's rights, or use the content unlawfully. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect learners, the service or our rights.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep the website and courses available, but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed. We may update content, features or these terms to reflect changes in guidance, law, technology or the service. Material changes will apply from the date shown on this page.
Our responsibility
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where the law does not allow this, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. To the extent permitted by law, MEDRUS Cymru is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss arising from use of the website or training. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we use personal information.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you keep any mandatory rights you have under the law where you live.
